Meet Jim DiFrangia
In his free time, Jim enjoys hitting the green to play golf, as well as attending concerts and shows around Northeast Ohio with his wife.
As an account executive at Roop & Co., Jim DiFrangia provides copywriting, PR and marketing communications support for the agency’s corporate, B2B, professional services and non-profit clients. His copywriting experience ranges from marketing collateral, case studies and feature articles, to direct mail, print ads and newsletters.
A seasoned B2B communications professional, he specializes in copywriting, corporate communications, PR and crisis communications. Having worked with companies such as Vitamix, First Energy, Eriez, Soundwhich and Cleveland Vibrator, he has extensive experience across the manufacturing, energy, environmental services, retail, technology and food services industries. In addition, he earned a social media marketing certification from HubSpot.
Jim was formerly an account executive for Stevens Strategic Communications, now a division of Roop & Co. Previously, he worked in a corporate communications and marketing role for First Energy. Prior to that, Jim served as a communications writer for Centerior Energy, an editor for Housewares Magazine through Advanstar Communications, and an account executive for Griswold-Eshleman. After college, he worked as a reporter and business editor for the Akron Beacon Journal and Medina Gazette. A board officer for the Northern Ohio Direct Marketing Association, Jim graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism.
