Meet Jim Kenny

A fan of Americana, Jim enjoys exploring underappreciated towns and destinations.

With his expertise in national media relations, thought leadership, crisis communications and demand generation, Jim is the perfect complement to our agency’s suite of capabilities. He serves the growth needs of businesses in professional services, technology, investment banking, education, and manufacturing.

Active civically, Jim serves as board member and marketing chair for Prayers From Maria Children’s Glioma Cancer Foundation and as vice chair of the Council for Economic Opportunities in Greater Cleveland. He also had a 16-year board tenure with the Women’s Recovery Center, where he served as VP and led the development of two strategic plans, a rebranding effort and its first capital campaign.

Before partnering with Roopco in 2004, Jim served as VP and media relations team leader at Dix & Eaton and, before that, as director of communications at The Hackett Group. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Kent State University and an MBA in strategic planning from the University of New Mexico.
