
MEET KAITLIN MCCREADY
A communications strategist with expertise in corporate communications, PR and marketing automation, she helps organizations in tech, energy and transportation use marketing as a growth lever.
Kaitlin McCready is a brand strategy, change management and communications leader who builds more valuable brands through strategic storytelling and stakeholder connection. Throughout her career in technology, transportation and energy, she has launched and redefined companies, built communications and marketing teams, and aligned stakeholders to drive meaningful change.
Most recently, Kaitlin served as communications and education manager and chief of staff for the U.S. Joint Office of Energy and Transportation, a startup within the federal government bridging the Departments of Energy and Transportation to catalyze America’s electric vehicle infrastructure. There, she advanced public understanding of electrification opportunities, partnered with national labs to translate research findings for private sector application, defined the office’s strategic technology priorities and core narratives, and managed crisis communications.
Kaitlin’s expertise spans narrative and messaging strategy, product marketing, public affairs, community engagement, internal communications, content marketing, media relations, crisis communications, corporate transformation and change management. Her work has been recognized as transformational to organizational trust and communications effectiveness, including at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, where she led a cross-organizational initiative that improved customer trust during a major reconstruction project.
She is a licensed change management practitioner, a graduate of the Coro New York Leadership Center, and holds a B.A. in strategic communications from Baldwin Wallace University.
