As the spring season brings an air of growth and new beginnings, Roopco is celebrating a new change for one of its more tenured team members.
Effective March 8, Katie Casciato has been promoted to the new role of content director. As a content director at Roopco, she will leverage the art of storytelling to create engaging, on-brand content for our diverse range of B2B, professional services, corporate and non-profit clients. In addition, she will lead the management and execution of our agency’s content marketing strategy.
With a balanced blend of strategic and creative thinking, Katie has a decade of experience in content writing and editing, content marketing, PR, brand strategy and project management. Her professional background is complemented by a technical skillset in SEO, data analysis and marketing automation.
Since joining Roopco as an assistant account executive in 2013, Katie has worked her way up through the agency in progressive, client-facing roles. Most recently, she served as an account supervisor for the past three years. In this role, she was responsible for developing, executing and managing a wide variety of strategic content marketing projects for our client base.
Prior to joining our agency, Katie worked as a copy editor for Water Environment Federation, as a technical communications intern for Parker Hannifin, and as a PR/communications intern for the Chardon Local School District. A proud Ohio University bobcat and E.W. Scripps graduate, she has two bachelor’s degrees in journalism and psychology.
