Roop & Co. was recently recognized for its exemplary strategic communications work at the PRSA East Central District’s 2016 Diamond Awards. Hosted by the PRSA East Central District, these awards recognize distinguished work in the design, development and execution of PR campaigns and tactics that demonstrate exemplary skill, creativity and resourcefulness.

Our agency received two Diamond Awards and two Merit Awards across the following categories:

1. Integrated Communications

Roop & Co. developed an integrated communications campaign announcing the launch of client Tremco Roofing & Building Maintenance‘s SkyBEAM drone service offering. Aimed at increasing awareness and generating leads for SkyBEAM, the campaign included media relations, digital content, social media, video and internal communications. This multi-faceted campaign also won a “Best in Show” top honor at the 2016 PRSA Cleveland Rocks Awards.

2. Investor Relations

RPM International Inc.’s 2016 annual report, centered on the theme “5 Decades of Leadership, 5-Year Strategic Plan,” highlighted the five decades of leadership by former CEO and chairman Tom C. Sullivan and the company’s five-year strategic plan for achieving $7-billion sales growth by fiscal year 2020. In addition, the report detailed RPM’s three reportable business segments, providing investors with greater transparency into its financial performance.

3. Special Events

Roop & Co. planned and coordinated RPM International‘s 2016 annual meeting of shareholders, which also reflected the theme “5 Decades of Leadership, 5-Year Strategic Plan.” This included event coordination, entertainment, presentations, video, media relations and marketing collateral consisting of the latest annual report, investor fact sheet and a meeting program. Drawing nearly 1,000 attendees, the annual meeting served as a platform to celebrate Tom Sullivan’s achievements, highlight RPM’s strong performance as a long-term investment, and forge even stronger ties with investors and the local community.

4. Community Relations

Roop & Co. developed the Ohio Aerospace Institute’s 2015 annual report, centered on the theme “Creating Opportunities in Aerospace & Beyond,” which highlighted its financial performance and provided an in-depth look at the organization’s strategic partnerships and services. In addition, the report showcased OAI’s vital impact on the aerospace industry and Ohio’s economy to position itself for continued research and program funding.
